Tina Trunzo Lute joins Morgan Akins & Jackson with 11 years of insurance defense experience, working closely with employers, insurers, self-insurers, and third-party administrators throughout the life of a workers’ compensation claim.

A Florida native, Tina earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Central Florida before returning to South Florida to obtain her Juris Doctor and LL.M. from St. Thomas University School of Law. After law school, Tina relocated to Valdosta, Georgia, where she began her career defending employers throughout South Georgia and developed a strong passion for guiding clients through the workers’ compensation system. She later moved to Atlanta, where she continues to focus her practice on insurance defense.

Tina believes that efficient, strategic advocacy—not excessive billing—is the hallmark of competent representation, and she is committed to identifying creative and effective paths to claim resolution, whether through settlement, a hearing, or other means.

Outside of work, Tina enjoys crocheting and spending time at home with her husband, their son, and two cats.
