Thomas J. Dougherty, an associate in the Philadelphia office, is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Prior to joining Morgan Akins & Jackson, he held a judicial internship with the Pennsylvania Appellate Courts and a judicial clerkship with the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, additionally he spent a year and a half at a small litigation firm in the heart of Philadelphia, handling personal injury cases both catastrophic and minor in nature for insurance companies. These matters included automobile accidents, premise liability accidents, dog bites, and construction equipment related injuries. Thomas has also represented clients in contractual, and commercial business matters.

A native of New Jersey, Thomas earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Rowan University, and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School, the state university of New Jersey.
