Darah L. Kaplan, an Associate in the Fort Lauderdale office, is admitted to practice in Florida. Prior to joining Morgan, Akins & Jackson in 2025, she worked in-house for a large insurance company, defending insureds in auto accident litigation. Prior to that, she also worked insurance defense handling general liability and casualty, premises liability, and auto litigation.

A native of Tampa, FL, Ms. Kaplan earned her BSBA in Marketing with a Minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida. She earned her Juris Doctor and MBA through Stetson University College of Law’s Dual Degree Program.
