After a multi-day jury trial in Fulton County (Atlanta), Georgia, Chad M. Jackson and Anne Marie du Toit convinced a jury of 12 to return a unanimous defense verdict for a national retailer. The plaintiff was seeking damages in excess of $400,000 for the alleged slip and fall at one of the retailer’s Georgia locations. Chad Jackson, a Partner at Morgan & Akins, was admitted Pro Hac Vice to first chair the trial for one of his largest clients, along with Morgan & Akins’ Georgia Senior Attorney, Anne Marie du Toit. “We could not be happier for our client,” stated Founding Partner Nick Akins, who went on to say, “Chad is one of the best trial attorneys in the southeast.”
