Morgan & Akins, PLLC is excited to announce a significant milestone in its history. Effective August 1, 2023, the firm will be changing its name to Morgan, Akins & Jackson, PLLC, reflecting the addition of Chad M. Jackson as a named partner and ongoing director of Southeast Litigation.
 
Chad M. Jackson is a seasoned litigation attorney with a wealth of experience in civil litigation. With a focus on motor vehicle accidents, premises liability claims, general litigation matters, and workers’ compensation claims, Chad has successfully represented insurers, their insureds, and self-insured companies throughout his career.
 
Having joined the firm in 2010, Chad quickly established himself as a leader and valuable asset. His dedication to providing exceptional legal services, combined with his vast trial experience, has earned him a reputation for delivering favorable outcomes for his clients. Chad’s impressive track record includes over 50 bench and jury trials, with cases tried to verdicts before juries in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia. He has also handled cases on a pro hac vice basis in Indiana and Missouri.
 
Beyond his work in the courtroom, Chad’s commitment to legal education and community engagement is commendable. He has served as an adjunct professor of Business Law at Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee, and is frequently invited to speak as a guest speaker or panelist on workers’ compensation and general liability matters.
 
Chad’s outstanding accomplishments and dedication to the legal profession led to his appointment as Managing Attorney of the firm in 2013 and his partnership in 2018. His leadership and expertise have been instrumental in the firm’s continued growth and success.
 
The name change to Morgan, Akins & Jackson, PLLC reflects the firm’s commitment to providing comprehensive legal services of the highest quality.  The shared proficiency of founding partners Nick Akins and the late Mike Morgan, augmented by the inclusion of Chad M. Jackson, guarantees the firm’s continued success and unwavering commitment to serving clients.
