Nicholas D. Maxymuik is a Senior Attorney based in the Morgan & Akins Philadelphia office. He has been practicing law for more than 25 years and uses that experience to aggressively defend a variety of clients.
Nicholas’ practice focuses on premises liability, where he has represented the owners of major local shopping malls and commercial maintenance companies. He also practices in motor vehicle liability, bad faith, trucking and estate matters.
He strongly believes that personal contact between an attorney and client is instrumental in obtaining effective and strategic representation. Nicholas is also an active trial attorney who understands the importance of depositions. He focuses on preparation and aggressive cross-examination to prompt reevaluation of the case.
He believes in using alternative dispute resolution forums such as mediation, which often save clients additional legal expenses while working with opposing counsel to resolve disputes.
Nicholas also has experience assisting clients in simple estate planning and probate administration.
Nicholas’ experience as a former claims adjuster has provided him a unique perspective on litigating and settling cases. In fact, he has conducted seminars educating claims adjusters to proactively handle their cases to promote prompt settlement and avoid bad faith litigation
