Joseph A. DiPisa is an attorney in the New York office of Morgan & Akins and practices in State and Federal Courts throughout New York and New Jersey. With fifteen years of litigation experience, Joe has been certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney since 2017 as a result of successfully conducted numerous jury trials, from jury selection to verdict, having obtained favorable results.

Joe concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance coverage disputes and commercial general liability as well as general litigation defense. His trial experience allows him to provide clients valuable insight in evaluating claims and vigorously defending disputes in the most efficient manner possible.

Joe has spent his entire life in the metropolitan area. He grew up in Queens and northeastern New Jersey and earned his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law, with honors, before clerking for the Honorable Joseph J. Riva in the Superior Court of New Jersey.  Prior to joining Morgan & Akins, Joe has years of experience with a prominent civil litigation defense firm.

Joe is an avid basketball fan and enjoys sports and physical fitness in his free time.
