Tyler Williams is an Associate Attorney in the Philadelphia office of Morgan & Akins, PLLC. Tyler’s practice is focused on insurance law defense. He has experience in handling all stages of civil litigation and has been involved in defending a number of catastrophic loss and wrongful death cases.
Tyler is originally from Haddonfield, New Jersey and earned his undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in 2009. Tyler attended law school at Rutgers School of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate in 2013. During his time at Rutgers, he participated in the Federal Prisoner Reentry Project, assisting incarcerated individuals in federal facilities with outstanding legal issues as well as serving on the Hunter Moot Court Board. Following law school, Tyler served as a law clerk to the Hon. Steven J. Polansky, J.S.C. in the Camden County Superior Court. While clerking, he participated in the civil mediation program working to settle small claims and landlord tenant matters.
Prior to joining Morgan & Akins, Tyler worked in civil litigation, defending insurance companies in premises liability, automobile, and wrongful death cases in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This experience provided him with extensive knowledge of insurance defense litigation, which he will use to zealously represent his clients at Morgan & Akins.
