Scott Rybny is a partner and chair of the firm’s Insurance Coverage and Extra-Contractual Liability Group. He has devoted his entire legal career to representing insurance carriers, agents and TPA’s before trial courts, appellate courts and arbitration panels in various high stakes litigations. With his 20 years of experience, Scott’s unique knowledge of the business of insurance gives him the ability to advise and counsel insurers on corporate and policy-related issues before litigations arise or as part of special investigations. From a trade credit dispute involving international banks and foreign companies to property claims arising out of Superstorm Sandy and professional liability disputes, Scott’s substantial experience with matters involving various commercial general liability, farm, condominium, fiduciary liability, professional liability, trade credit, property and commercial crimes policy is consistent with our firm’s guiding principles of providing value-driven legal services that meet the needs of our clients.

Scott is a prolific author and speaker on emerging issues in the insurance industry, providing both in-house training and at various organizations around the country.
